    Global Communication Paper

Most people are not sure what Global Communication is... It is the process of transmitting and receiving on a worldwide scale. It has worked miracles around the world and many people have never heard about it. Global Communication is one of the biggest reasons for why many things in everyday life happen. A few of the ways Global Communication has changed the globalization of the world in the last ten years is through Science, the Internet, and Businesses.

Global Communication has changed many things in Science in the last ten years. A few of the things that have changed are Satellites, Medicine, and Technology. Satellites have been one of the main reasons that global communication has been able to spread so rapidly. Satellites have made it possible for news cast to show what is happening for example in war zones. If it was not for satellites people would have very little clue on what is happening around the world. Scientist have been able to connect with other parts of the world to share ideas for new medicines. When a new discovery happens, then a person in any part of the world could learn about it almost instantly. Scientist around the world have worked together to make new technology happen. The technology is mostly used to help people in everyday life. When people are able to work together while in different parts of the world, more brains are being used at a time to make an idea stronger and better.

Global Communication has changed the way people see and interact in the world through the Internet. The Internet has helped the world communicate in different ways, learn what is happening in other countries, and buying items. The Internet has helped people interact through email, facebook, skype and other instant messengers. The Internet has helped people contact others quick and even sometimes face to face if people have web cams on there computers. The Internet has given people the opportunity to learn what is going on in other countries, anything from politics to the weather. People have the chance to have up to date, live news by just going to another countries news website. Global Communication has given people the chance to buy products on the Internet from other countries for the best price. Just going on the Internet gives a person the ability to type in what they want and get results from all over the world with a click of a button.

Global Communication has opened the world to new things for businesses in the last ten years. A few of the things that have made a big impact are products, communication, and selling. Global communication has impacted products because they are more in-depth and work better. Many products have been upgraded with more technology than ever before in the last ten years. From cell phones to computers the global communication world has helped businesses think of new ideas constantly. Communication in the work place of businesses has made progress with talking to other countries to develop stronger parts. The interaction between countries has helped businesses also make items cheaper by sending them over seas to be made. For this reason selling items has made an impact as well. Since things are being made over seas for less, it is giving businesses the opportunity to sell items for cheaper and still make a bigger profit. Global communication has also given businesses the ability to sell all around the world by going on the Internet and going to a website.

Global Communication has changed globalization through Science, the Internet, and Businesses. These three topics have grown greatly over the last ten years and are going to continue to grow. Internet has helped the world by making interaction seem just seconds away, when in reality it’s actually hundreds to thousands of miles. Scientist will continue to work on new technology that will help the Internet become faster and faster which will help businesses make new products and sell them quicker. Global Communication is going to come up with new things that are used in everyday life and some people will never think about how these things all came together.

    On-Blog Quiz

When I began working on the Diana Hacker website I found different topics that showed me how to write better. When you chose a topic you could answer questions about the subject. You always had two different answers that you could choose from. One of the topics I learned more about was active and passive verbs. While I was working on the passive and active verbs I did not think I was going to have that hard of a time with them, but I did. Another topic that I worked on and felt I did well with was Wordy Sentences. The way this topic worked was all of the answer were either omit the underlined word or to keep the underlined word. One of the more interesting topics was Run on Sentences. I struggled more than I thought I would, but I think it was one of the more educational topics I looked at. An example for Run on Sentences is "Tom is hiding because he accidentally killed a man in a fight". After that we are suppose to choose if it was a run on sentence or it is okay the way it is. Overall I thought the website was easy to understand and I learned somethings on it.
